A Walk In The Rain

It’s been raining a lot these past few days.

In a few hours, I will be going home. What is considered to be the loveliest time of the day has to be ignored in my sleep. The time the town wakes up is the time for me to end the day that was supposed to my yesterday.

If by any chance, you are to look for me, I’ll just be on the streets, walking alone in the rain. I will be waiting, thinking, and wishing if someone will join me in my gait. I will be cold, my jacket will be wet, and my umbrella won't really do its job well. Only my words will be something that will keep my mind off the cold weather – at least until I make it home, until love finds me.

I’ll be walking slowly so I could take my chances in love – something that has never been in my favour. But just like what Fine said: “I’m not complaining, for It has always been like that.” I'd be more than happy to take his word for it.

What more can I say?
